files showing in pull requests that I didn't change

image.pngIn the above screenshot, I had only modified Main.html. We create our branch from master, and merge it to dev for testing. The pull requests is showing 4 extra files in the DIFF that I didn't modify. This has never happened before. Is there a reason for this or is it a bug?

Also sometimes it shows differences in pull request when there aren't actually any differences.

Your pull request might have a merge, which brings in changes that you didn't actually do.

Click the dropdown under "Show diff of" header and pick your commit to see the diff for your changes. You can use that dropdown to separate changes for each commit in the PR.

I have figured out that all those additional files that are showing in the pull request are from a "revert merge" commit made in master. How do we fix this issue? We are seeing unnecessary files in every pull request.
