I enabled 2FA and immediately it doesn't recognize my 6 digit code from the app I'm using. When I use "can't use my phone" to get in, I enter the 24 digit recovery which works but sends me right back to the login where I can either fail with the 2FA app (again) or enter the new 24 digit recovery code.
Nothing lets me get past the endless loop of trying to log in...
help!

Does this issue occur when you log in with the same email as the email of your community account?
I checked in our system and that email address doesn't have a Bitbucket Cloud account associated with it. There is an Atlassian account (for https://id.atlassian.com/) but 2FA is disabled at the moment for this Atlassian account.
If this is the account you were having issues with, a common reason for such a failure is that the time for your app and phone may not be the same. If they’re not, you can reset your phone’s clock and try to access your account again.

I'm typing this from a different account - I had to wait the 24 hours for a password reset which allowed me to disable 2FA once I got in. I won't re-enable the 2FA because it was an infinite loop of methods that redirected me back to the referring page(s).
