The Atlassian Community can help you and your team get more value out of Atlassian products and practices.
Hi, @Enno! Welcome to the community!
Before we start, I’d like to confirm that I've properly understood what is happening on your side. Feel free to correct me in case I have misunderstood something here.
Apparently, when creating a new repository and adding a value to the "Default branch name" field, the repository is still showing “master" on the readme page:
git remote add origin git@bitbucket.org:workspace/repository-name.git
git push -u origin master
Is that correct? If that’s the case, we already have an open bug to update the branch name to the one that was informed during the repository creation:
Our development team will post an update on the bug report when this is fixed. If you are not familiar with our Bug Request Policy, you can read more about it here.
You can add yourself as a watcher (by selecting the Start watching this issue link in the bug report) if you'd like to get notified via email on any updates and also select the This affects my team link to indicate you are affected by this issue.
Please, feel free to share any additional questions or concerns regarding this case.
Kind regards,
Caroline
Yes, Caroline, this is indeed a duplicate of https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-21019 and thus can be closed/merged. Thank you for confirming!
