broken character on shift_jis encoding

The file is broken when I open a shift_jis encoding file.

did you edit the file in the online editor?

What is the encoding of the file when you pull? What was the original encoding?

file -bi

As far as i knoe the online editor defaults to UTF-8 and there is no option to change it.

The encoding of the file is shift_jis.
I didn't edit it in the online editor.
