Hey Athin,

The error message you have described above seems to relate to a local DNS issue.

If you are having issues accessing the Bitbucket website, please attempt the following two troubleshooting steps for me one at a time, testing after each step:
  • Changing your DNS server IP address to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4
This is the address for Google Public DNS, if the website loads successfully after you have made this change then I would suspect that this is a DNS issue on your ISP's end.
A guide for performing this can be found here:
    https://www.howtogeek.com/167533/the-ultimate-guide-to-changing-your-dns-server/
  • Perform a tracert to the address in a command prompt:
    tracert bitbucket.org or traceroute bitbucket.org

If the first step fails, by performing the second step you can determine where exactly the fail is occurring. For example, if this is occurring at your default gateway or at the ISP end.
There is a further network troubleshooting article located below (which includes the above steps):
https://confluence.atlassian.com/bbkb/troubleshooting-network-issues-389778693.html

Cheers!

- Ben (Bitbucket Cloud Support)
