Hi all, I’m running into a strange problem with the YACC Plugin. I’ll explain the scenario. We have this plugin enabled to check for JIRA numbers at the start of each commit message. From our local development machines (git version 2.14.3 (Apple Git-98) this plugin works as expected, failing git pushes that aren’t prefaced with JIRA patterns such as CTF-80. On our Jenkins agents, we’re encountering a problem where git pushes will fail even if the commit message in that push contains a JIRA number. Our agents are on AWS, running on Amazon Linux AMI release 2017.09 and the version of git there is 2.14.4. I’ve tried adding my mac’s ~/.gitconfig onto the Jenkins agent but this didn’t help. We were able to devise a workaround, we disable the checkbox for Require Valid JIRA Issue(s) and use its regex in the Commit Message Regex field above. This effectively gives us the JIRA check we’re looking for but this is a hacky workaround. Has anybody encountered an issue like this before?
