Workspace usage not reducing after deleting repos

I got the notice the other day about free plans being limited to 1GB storage soon, so I went in and deleted a bunch of old, unused repos that should have drastically reduced my storage, but it still shows I'm using 3.78GB, the same as before I deleted anything. Is there a "trash can" I have to empty somewhere, or does it just take time (it's been over 24 hours since most of the deletions).

Hi @tcallaha  and welcome to the community!

There is no such thing as a trash can, but it can take up to 30 days for the background cleanup job to run to remove the deleted repos. Please allow 30 days after repository deletion for the total workspace size to be re-adjusted.

The size enforcement will take place on April 28, 2025, until that date your workspace is not going to be impacted by the new limits.

Our team is working on improving the cleanup time and it is planned to be implemented prior to limits enforcement changes taking place.

Kind regards,
Theodora

Hi,

at the moment the counter takes a lot to be updated, days, maybe weeks.
