I have installed bitbucket on windows server and is running on port 7990 but when I telnet from my jenkins server (Linux) after a few second it shows connection closed by foreign host although I can telnet to other ports on windows server . How can solve the issue ?
Hi Baber,
Why are you trying to telnet to port 7990, which is the HTTP port? The fact that you eventually get a message saying the connection was closed suggests that you were able to connect but then the server closed the connection, presumably due to inactivity.
If you're having problems connecting you might want to check the Windows firewall to ensure it allows incoming connections.
Cheers,
