Whats the best way to retrieve email IDs of code authors or reviewers using APIs being an admin?

Hello,

I am working on an automated API solution and one of the issues I'm blocked with is unable to find email IDs of the code authors or reviewers from API even though being an admin on BitBucket Cloud workspace. 

I can see the users and emails from Settings -> User Directory and exporting the list manually. But I'm looking for an API solution so I can process the data and automate next steps. Please suggest me any example endpoints calls or calls that can help here.

I'm afraid the e-mail address of users is indeed not currently returned in our public API endpoints. As you mentioned, the workspace members' email addresses are only available through the Export a list of workspace members in the UI.

I went ahead and raised a feature request to add the ability to retrieve workspace member emails via API (for admins), which you can access in the following link :

I would suggest you to add your vote there, since this helps both developers and product managers to understand the interest. Also, make sure you add yourself as a watcher in case you want to receive first-hand updates from that ticket. Please note that all features are implemented with this policy in mind.

Thanks for the response and yes please that needs to be a feature with API so developers can pull data and process it for automation reasons.
