I tried my computer password and my bit bucket account password and I keep getting login failed due to incorrect login credentials or method.

Hi @Sophia Gostfrand and welcome to the community!

The password of your Bitbucket Cloud account can be used only for logging in to the website.

If you would like to clone (and then pull and push) to a repo with HTTPS, you can generate an app password:

The app password can be used instead of a password for cloning/pulling/pushing via HTTPS.

Please make sure that the app password has at least Repositories: Read and Repositories: Write permissions when you generate it, if you want to use it for both cloning and also pushing back to the repo.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Theodora

Usually, when cloning a repo, you get asked for your ssh key passphrase.
