When the bcma checks for errors we get the message : We are currently updating the migration service.

In the logs we can see the following error : 

An error occurred when requesting against resource https://api-private.atlassian.com/migration/bitbucket/v1/workspaces/.../preflight/repositories: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

I expect an announcement from Atlassian about this kind of Migration Service outage. I've got this error for nearly a day, don't know when it's available again.

We have not seen this problem occur before. There is KB article that explains the issue in great details with resolution.
