Use variables in Bitbucket Pipelines artifacts section

carlos_delossantos May 5, 2023

I have a variable defined in my repo variables which value is a path, but I cannot use it in my pipeline's artifacts section:

script:

- mkdir -p $NOG_HOME/lib/middleware

- unzip nog-middleware.zip -d $NOG_HOME/lib/middleware/

- ls -la $NOG_HOME/lib/middleware

artifacts:

- $NOG_HOME/lib/middleware/**

It does not resolve my variable in the artifacts, I have to put the entire path.

Do you know if this is posible?

Hi Carlos and welcome to the community!

This is not supported at the moment, the path should be used instead of a variable.

We have a feature request about this in our issue tracker:

I would suggest adding your vote there (by selecting the Vote for this issue link) as the number of votes helps the development team and product managers better understand the demand for new features. You are more than welcome to leave any feedback, and you can also add yourself as a watcher (by selecting the Start watching this issue link) if you'd like to get notified via email on updates.

Implementation of new features is done as per our policy here and any updates will be posted in the feature request.

Kind regards,
Theodora
