Unable to login with lost 2FA

Hi Team, I have lost access to bitbucket as my phone got formatted, I don't have my recovery keys either, I use bitbucket to access all corporate repos,  can someone please guide me how to request for  two-step verification recovery email, any help in this regard will  be highly appreciated as this is impacting my day to day work and impacting the deliverables.

Hi, @sumit_mohanty! Welcome to the community! 

In order to request the two-step verification recovery email, you can follow the next steps:

  • Access

  • Then, inform your email and password to be redirected to the Two-step verification page:

  • Click on Forgot code?

  • You will be redirected to another page

  • There, click on the Send recovery email option

After that, the system will initiate the process to recover your access. After the 1 workday wait period, you will receive an email with a one-time login link to allow you to access your account and disable the two-step verification. We will not be able to expedite the reset process because this waiting period is to ensure that the request was indeed made by the account's owner.

I did this and received a recovery link to Atlassian instead of Bitbucket, which I had no issues accessing. Can someone tell me how to reset specifically Fitbucket as this 'Forgot code' method did not work for me and I have just waited 24 hours for the recovery email to work?

I see that someone created a ticket with our support related to this question and a support engineer has already sent a two-step verification recovery email, so to avoid any possible misunderstandings or miscommunication that may arise from discussing the same matter on two different platforms, let’s focus on the ticket instead.
