Unable to import git repository to bitbucket repo using rest api

Please provide a solution to import other git repositories into the bitbucket repo using API.

Hi Anil and welcome to the community!

I'm afraid that we don't have an API endpoint for importing a repository to Bitbucket Cloud.

You can import manually from our website, via https://bitbucket.org/<workspace-id>/workspace/repository/import where <workspace-id> replace with the id of the workspace you want to import to.

If you need to import a large number of repos, you could write a script that does the following for each repo you want to import:

• creates a new empty Bitbucket Cloud repo via our API
  https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/bitbucket/rest/api-group-repositories/#api-repositories-workspace-repo-slug-post
• takes a mirror clone of the repo you want to import using Git
• pushes from the mirror clone to the newly created Bitbucket Cloud repo
