Unable to delete branch in Stash

Hi,

I want to delete a branch in stash but i get the error "Server didn't respond". i had a look in the error logs where it says:

"DELETE /rest/branch-utils/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/branches HTTP/1.1" c.a.s.r.e.UnhandledExceptionMapper Unhandled exception while processing REST call
java.io.IOException: Socket read failed
        at org.apache.coyote.ajp.AjpProcessor.read(AjpProcessor.java:313) [tomcat-coyote.jar:7.0.42]

The branch was created with stash function "create branch from here"

Server is using Git 1.7.10.4, I tried with Stash 2.11.2 and 2.12 after update - no luck.

I am using a custom installation-setup. (not the bundeled tomcat, wrapper and jre)

Any Ideas?

Is there anything useful in the Stash logs (STASH_HOME/log/atlassian-stash.log)?

Perhaps you're not setting the Content-type: application/json HTTP header in the request or you're not providing a body?
