The PR edit button missing

I'm not able to see the edit button on a PR. What setting controls this?

Hi Michael,

There is no setting that controls this. We have removed the Edit option and the Update pull request page:

You can make changes from the pull request's main page. If you click on the title or description, you can edit them, and reviewers can be added or removed from the right sidebar.

Thanks for the information... FYI we did experience an issue with at least one PR where we were not able to update the target branch using the PR's main page. This seems to not be an issue with new PRs.

You are very welcome, Michael. If you still have an open PR where this issue occurs and you would like us to investigate, you can create a ticket with the support team and share the link of the affected PR.

You can create a ticket via https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/, in "What can we help you with?" select "Technical issues and bugs" and then Bitbucket Cloud as product. When you are asked to provide the workspace URL, please make sure you enter the URL of the workspace that is on a paid billing plan to proceed with ticket creation.

What about the ability to close the source branch when the PR is merged? This checkbox could be changed on the Edit page. It doesn't look like this option is on the PR's main page. I am aware that it is an option in the modal right before merging the PR, but this is not the same. It requires you to actually merge the PR. As it stands, I need to decline the PR and open a new one just to change this setting.
