Stash no longer lets LDAP copy users on login

Adam Nerderman January 27, 2014

I used to be able to configure the LDAP user directory to copy users on login so that they could change their email since our LDAP server does not define email addresses. With the latest version of Stash I no longer see that option. Is there a new way to do this or am I basically stuck?

I realized it when you said "Internal with LDAP Authentication" that I had chosed just "LDAP" which is why I was not seeing the internal options anymore. Sorry for the trouble and thanks!

Hi Adam,

Stash defers all its user management to a module called Embedded Crowd which we don't work on directly. Forgive me for what might be a dumb question, but are you talking about the "Internal with LDAP Authentication" and the "Copy User on Login" option?

Cheers,

Charles
