Self-hosting using BitBucket

Deleted user May 2, 2018

Hello -

What is the current status of BitBucket support for self-hosting?  By this, I mean using my own git repository with BitBucket as the client front end.  From blogs, I see that there was a program/support called "stash" a couple of years ago.

I do see that self-hosting support apparently is still offered:
https://bitbucket.org/product/pricing?tab=self-hosted

But I haven't been able to find information on how to set up self-hosting.  Can you direct me to the appropriate documentation?

Thank you.

The self hosted version is called "Bitbucket Server". You can find the installation instructions at https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/bitbucket-server-installation-guide-867338382.html

"Bitbucket Cloud" is a different product but they both offer a lot of similar functionalities. There are differences too, which includes a different license structure.

Thank you very much!

I am still in the early planning stages on trying to decide what we will be doing as far as setting up our git repository.  But, it seems a given that we will be creating a local git repository.  BitBucket is one choice as a client front end for admin and dev access.

Once again, many thanks for the quick reply.
