Hi,
Bitbucket showing a warning that size of my repo exceeds 2GB .when i checked my repository i noticed that it used 2.09 GB of 4 GB. i tried resetting last commit.but it didnt helped.
Can you please run git gc for the remote repository?
Hi @Eobin G and welcome to the community!
I ran a git gc on the repository that was over 2 GB and its size has now been reduced.
Resetting the last commit and pushing is something that works if your repo is over the 4 GB limit. If your repo is below the 4 GB limit, you can create a question in community and request a git gc.
We have a feature request to allow users to trigger a git gc on their remote repos that you can vote for: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-11593
Kind regards,
Theodora
Thank you so much for your help @Theodora Boudale
