Repositoriy membership number limited?

Hi!

We're using the free Bitbucket version for our Java course at the university, we're having 16 groups with 2-3 member in each, plus we have to add the teacher as another member, however the teacher can't see our repository, only the 15 others, so here is my question:
Is there a limitation on how many groups can someone be a member of?

Hi Horváth, welcome to the community! 

No, there's no limit on how many groups someone can be a member of, but there's a limit on how many users can get access to someone else's content. 

Do you have different groups within the same Bitbucket account? Or do you have different Teams accounts with 2-3 users in them?:

• In the first case, if there are several groups created within a Bitbucket account and each group has 2-3 users, then the user limit is exceeded (max 5 users per account). The account will need to be upgraded and the user won't be able to access the content. 
• In the second case, if you have separate Bitbucket teams accounts with 2-3 members in them (less than 5 users), the teacher shouldn't have any problem seeing the content as far as the 5 users are not being exceeded. 

Does this make sense? Please double check the number of users and if you need extra help, let us know the name of the account/s and we'll have a look.

Thanks for the reply, our case is the second one. We don't know what caused this, but the problem was solved, after we deleted and re-added the teacher to our group.
