Random no display of repositories or source

Hi Guys,

I seem to have an infuriating issue with my BitBucket account in that when selecting the repositories tab I quite often get the message "Something went wrong" and after a number of refreshes I can eventually see my repositories.

I also get a similar issue once I get into a repository I immediately get the message "Having trouble showing that directory". Selecting try again works randomly sometimes taking up to 10 retries before the source directory is displayed.

I get the same behaviour for all workspaces I have access to.

Anyone else encountered this? I have a great internet connection and connecting with or without a personal VPN has the same results.

Hi Paul,

May I know which browser you are using?

Cheers!

Hi Ben,

I'm using Chrome and Firefox ( Linux ) and I have the same issue on both.

As a further update I also notice that for all repositories if I select 'source' and then a file e.g. pom.xml the source is never displayed, all I see is the box where the source file should be displayed and a spinner. However, sometimes the edit button is available and this will then display the source ready to edit.

This behaviour started over the Christmas period and is getting worse where sometimes it is just not possible to view my repositories for ages. Normally I give up and try again later.

I have no issues with local pull's and commits to/from the remote repositories, it's just the Bitbucket web access.

Hey @Paul Irving

Can you please try to clear the browser cache on both of those browsers and let me know if the problem persists?

If it does - I'll need to see a HAR log as I can't reproduce this issue on my end, unfortunately.

To do so - I'll need to raise a support ticket on your behalf, as it would not be appropriate to share sensitive data on a public forum.

May I know which timezone you are in so I may do so? :)

Cheers!
