The problem occurred is like the team tested all the changes in stage branch and to proceed for production deployment, they created pull request from Stage to Master branch. The request displayed all the changes that were supposed to be merged and post approval, the merge happened as expected. But when we checked one of the files, the code wasn't updated in master branch file and was having old code.
We could not merge again as the prior merge request was completed as per Bitbucket process without errors.
As a workaround we create temp master_new branch from stage and went ahead with our work but then now we are not able to rename the new master_new branch neither we are able to delete the existing master branch?
Can you please provide a solution for the same?
Hello @Monali Chaudhary,
Hm, it's hard to guess what happened there with just your description. Do you mind opening a support case with us and share the details privately so that our support team can take a look?
Cheers,
Daniil
