I am having folder called Docs in the repo root which has multiple md files. I just want to render a particular md file in the repo root instead of readme.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi @Annamalairaj and welcome to the community.
Both Bitbucket Cloud and Bitbucket Server require a README.md file to be present at the root level of the repository, in order for its contents to be displayed on the Source page.
I'm afraid that it is not possible to configure a .md file with a different name at a different location to be displayed. The only way to display the file you want would be to rename it to README.md and move it to the root of the repo.
I can check if there is an existing feature request for what you are asking, please let me know in this case whether you are using Bitbucket Cloud (repo hosted in https://bitbucket.org/) or Bitbucket Server (self-hosted instance).
Kind regards,
Theodora
