Pipeline gets triggered on branch creation, But I don't want it, I want pipeline to get triggered only when there is a new commit on the branch. How can I achieve this?
Thanks

G'day @safarnama and welcome to the community!

By default, a new build will be triggered every time you make a commit on any branch or every time you create a new branch if you have the "pipeline: default" trigger in your YML file.

To avoid triggering builds automatically when a new branch is created, please remove the "pipeline: default" trigger from your YML file. Instead, you can use branch triggers that run a build on every push to a specific branch or pull request triggers that run a build on pull requests.

You can refer to the Bitbucket Cloud documentation on how to configure Pipelines for various triggers. Here's the link: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/configure-bitbucket-pipelinesyml/.

Cheers,
Syahrul
