Overview section is not visibl

Miltiadis Sitaridis March 1, 2018

Dear All,

When I connect bitbucket and open a repository, I don't see the "Overview" option on the right list.

The issue is related to my account only as I did the following tests:

  • On my computer with mine account I tried Chrome / Internet Explorer / Opera, also reset the data, the overview doesn't appear.
  • On a different computer with mine account I tried Chrome / Internet Explorer / Firefox, the overview doesn't appear.
  • On my computer with a different account the overview appears.

Could any one help me,

Hi Miltiadis! That's been one of our recent changes in the UI, so far it has only be enabled for a limited number of users, but anyone can opt-in or opt-out in the Bitbucket Labs section. You can reach it at https://bitbucket.org/account/user/<user>/features/ It's called 'New source browser experience' :

At the moment this option is not available in the Labs section, but the markdown listing is still broken in the readme.md previews.

Hi Harshil,

To enable the overview follow the below steps:

  • Open view profile
  • Click on settings
  • then click on Labs
  • and disable the second feature (New source browser experience)
