Only run if pipeline trigger tag contains numbers, not letters

Hi,

our pipeline yml file contains the following: section, that will be executed if a commit is tagged with the fomat *.*.*;

------------------

       '*.*.*':

          - step:

              name: Tagged triggered release build

-----------------

However we would like that the pipeline _only_ gets triggered if the asterisks are numbers, and hence not letters. Is this possible and if yes - how?

Hi Brian,

I'm afraid that this is not possible to achieve with glob patterns. We have a feature request to support regex, which would allow such a match:

I would suggest adding a comment to the feature request with your use case for our product managers to take into account and also adding your vote to it (by selecting the Vote for this issue link).
