Hi All,

I am trying to enable pipeline feature available in Bitbucket free account, which requires enabling 2FA. While trying to enable 2FA, even after providing correct password for atlassian account. It is not getting accepted. Tried changing the atlassian password using forgot password option, but still facing same error. I have login using my gmail address. Kindly suggest a way to enable 2FA in this case.

Hi @Rushikesh Deshmukh

Welcome to the community.

Based on the screenshot, you're enabling 2FA for your Atlassian account.
The Pipelines requirement is to actually enable your Bitbucket Cloud account's 2FA on the Bitbucket.org website.

You can check this link for the steps on how to enable 2FA for your Bitbucket cloud account on Bitbucket.org: Bitbucket Cloud - Enable two-step verification

Hope it helps and let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Mark C

Hi @Mark C

Thanks for the reply.

I am already following the document, which is suggested by you. The issue which I am facing is, "While trying to enable 2FA, even after providing correct password for atlassian account. It is not getting accepted. Tried changing the atlassian password using forgot password option, but even after changing password still facing same error."

I am login to Bitbucket using my gmail address, is this the reason for not able to enable 2FA?.

Hi @Rushikesh Deshmukh

You'll need to enable 2FA by logging into Bitbucket.org.

After that, go to this link: https://bitbucket.org/account/settings/two-step-verification/manage

Let me know how it goes.

Mark C
