No workspace with identifier 'username'.

Edited

Hi,

I'm trying to create a repository and I get this error:

" No workspace with identifier 'username'. "

I've created a workspace in the bitbucket but I still get this error.

Can someone please help me?

it is now 2023 and this error still persists despite many posts years prior saying that this feature was removed. if usernames have truly been removed and replaced with workspace id's then why does the software still ask for a username?

how can this issue be solved?

Hi @Nickolay Sachno and welcome to the community.

I've seen this issue reported for a few other workspaces as well and the issue required intervention from our dev team to get resolved. I therefore went ahead and created a support ticket for you, so that this can be escalated to the appropriate team. You can find the support ticket here:

An engineer from the support team will assist you with this issue.

I would just like to ask if you could please make a post in that ticket and mention the workspace ID that you are trying to create a repo for, so that we know which workspace to look into.

You can find the workspace ID if you:

  1. Log in to https://bitbucket.org/
  2. Go to your avatar (bottom left corner) > All workspaces
  3. Select the workspace you are trying to create a repo for
  4. The workspace ID should be in the URL, after https://bitbucket.org/

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Theodora
