Need access token to push my code to bitbucket repository using REST API

Abhishek Sharma April 22, 2021

I need to push my code to bitbucket repository using BITBUCKET REST API and for that I need Personal Access Token.

To create that token I followed the steps in this article.

But when I clicked on my profile picture to find "Manage Account", it is not there , I cannot find it anywhere.

Please Help me out here. How can I push my code to bitbucket using REST API

Hi @Abhishek Sharma

G'Day!

This may be late, but the link you share is for the Bitbucket server only and not applicable for the Bitbucket cloud.

To authenticate with Bitbucket cloud API you'll need to generate an AppPassword. AppPasswords are substitute passwords for a user account that you can use for integration tools or API usage instead of the account passwords.

If you are looking to authenticate with OAuth, please check our KB at:

I hope this helps

Cheers,
