Missing repository

Edited

I haven't logged into my account for some time and I seem to be missing at least one private repository. When I log in with my email address, I don't have any repos associated with it. I think maybe at some point I linked the email address to a different account, but the repo is not over there either. Really hoping the repo isn't lost. It should be under <redacted>

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @Cameron Decker ,

and welcome to the Community!

Just a heads up, I've removed the workspace/repository name from the description to protect your privacy.

Checking internally for the bitbucket account associated with the email you used to post this question, it indeed does not have access to the workspace/repository you shared. That bitbucket account was actually created quite recently, so you might have created it by mistake while trying to find the correct email.

I see the email that owns that workspace is similar to the one you used here in Community, but with a different domain. You might want to try to log in on Bitbucket using any other emails you own and check if that email has access to the workspace.

Thank you, @Cameron Decker !

Thanks so much for your help, Patrik! I am at a complete loss as to what email that could be. I only have this email and a work email that have a similar name, and my work email didn't bring up anything either. Is it possible that the missing workspace changed emails recently? Wondering if my account got hacked and it got transferred to a different email.

Thank you again for your help!

Hello @Cameron Decker ,

The email contains a custom domain which seems to be a work email. It also belongs to an Atlassian Organization (you can check on https://admin.atlassian.com).

I'm wondering if you might have logged in with the correct account already but were looking at the wrong workspace.

Could you try logging in with those emails again, and for each of them :

  1. Click on the Personal Avatar in the top right
  2. Select All workspaces option. With this, you'll be able to see which workspaces that particular account has access
  3. Click on one of the workspaces, and select the Repositories option in the top navigation bar.
  4. Repeat for other workspaces this account has access.

Let me know if that works :)

Patrik S

Oh my gosh, there it is! I thought I may have moved things over to an organizational account I started, but I couldn't figure out how to see all workspaces. Thanks again for your help!
