I have an old bitbucket account, which I am using all the time. But I recently lost access because it requires to enter a verification code sent to my email address. The email is my old school email, to which I have no access anymore. I know email address and password, can I re-gain access and reset my email address?
Thanks!
Hi Zherong,
Unfortunately, if you can't access your email account - you will not be able to gain access using the recovery method.
Are you able to modify the email address associated with your Atlassian account to one that you are able to access? This will update the email address associated with your Bitbucket Cloud account and should hopefully allow you to login:
Let me know how this goes.

This does not work. Note that the account I am looking in now is a backup account, not the one I want to recover.
For the one I want to recover, I need to log out and then press the link you gave me. That in turn, requires me to login, which fails due to the requested verification code that I do not have.

Hi @zherong pan
Unfortunately, there is nothing further we can do to assist. The verification email which is sent periodically is a security requirement to ensure that you are the rightful owner of that workspace. You will need access to that email account to proceed with login, otherwise - you'll need to create a new workspace and push your local repositories across to this.
