Jupyter Notebook Viewer not displaying images

I'm trying to display an image in my jupyter notebook. I've tried using a markdown block with the code:

![schematic](images/nmos_2_res.png)
and
![schematic](./images/nmos_2_res.png)
but the url generated by the viewer is a 404
I've also tried displaying it through a python cell but that does not work either.
Is this a known issue? Are there any workarounds?
Thanks

Hello @RDFebbo and thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

I have a couple of questions to better understand the issue you are facing :

  • Are you trying to view the Jupyter Notebook in the Bitbucket Cloud UI?
  • Have you installed any add-on/extension on your Bitbucket workspace to view those files? If yes, could you share which add-on/extension you are using?
  • With regards to the images you are trying to link, where are these images hosted ? Are they stored in the repository itself or on a third-party host?
  • If you feel comfortable on sharing it here in a public forum, could you send us an example of your notebook that is not rendering?

Thank you, @RDFebbo !
