Is there a way to define a default source branch for a branch type?

Edited

When creating a branch from JIRA based on our branching model for the bugfixes type of branch it defaults source to master. Our process (and your documentation) says this is to be branched from a release branch. Is there a way to define a default source branch by type? preferably based on a pattern as our release branches contains major and minor versioning.

Hi @Shawn Denton ,

it should depend form the default branch configured on bitbucket side. Please take a look to your repo settings.

Hope this helps,

Fabio
