Importing from GitHub

Hey, I am trying to import my private repository from GitHub. Like in this manual:

but always get an "remote: Invalid username or password." error though i am sure my github credentials are correct.

The procedure runs fine, if I try to import one of my public repositories, without any authentication. Any ideas on that? Thank you!

Hello @mkison, 

Are you using two-factor authentication or SAML single sign-on in GitHub by any chance? In these cases the regular username and password won't work, you should use personal access token instead.
