Hi,
I've tried to set up a new account for BitBucket for my work and apparently have had the verification email sent, the email address is correct however I'm not receiving any verification emails?
I've tried re-sending the email a number of times and haven't received any of them.

If you've landed on this thread, you likely are having trouble getting invitation emails from Atlassian Cloud (Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Bitbucket Cloud) for yourself or a teammate.
Due to various messages your mail server might have returned when the invitation was sent, Atlassian's mail systems may have paused further emails. Atlassian Support will need to clear this condition for the email address not receiving invitations. This can be cleared up a couple ways:
Ask a new question about email unblocks
If your company uses Office 365 for email, also consider allowlisting emails from Atlassian to proactively prevent future email delivery issues.
Why can't I just comment on this thread?
Only watchers of a thread get notifications of new replies. Starting a new question with the link/button provided above will help the whole support team get a notification of the question. This means you still get help, even if specific Atlassians have taken vacation or changed roles. The team is stronger than any one person!

I checked your email address in our system and I could see that the emails were bouncing. I've deleted the bounce now, could you try again?
Also, for security reasons, I encourage you to edit your message and remove your email address :)

I checked the email address you used to submit this Community post but there's no Bitbucket Cloud account associated to it. Are you using a different email address for Bitbucket? Or are you using a different product?

yeah I'm using a different email. I tried to create a Bitbucket Account to use Sourcetree but I never received the verification mail. So, to write into the community forum I used my Google Account.

For me the confirmation mail didn't manage to go through our firewall/spamchecker/etc..

I've checked the email address associated with this Community account and I could see that there was an email from the 14th of August that was processed and delivered. Can you confirm that you've checked your inbox, spam folder, and filters, to make sure it's not stuck there?
If you're still not receiving the email let us know from which product where you expecting it and that will help us with the investigation.
Alternatively, if you were referring to a different email address or Atlassian account, please submit a post using that account so we can have a look.
Also, for the future, remember that it's better to submit your own post when you need help rather than commenting on an existing one. Older threads are not actively monitored by our team and your question might be missed.

I am having a similar issue too, but with my work email (aldrin@tangle.ca) as well. I have been re-sending emails multiple times for a while, but I haven't been received them. I even checked it if they are under spam/junk, but are not there.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Your e-mail address was hard bounced because the destination e-mail provider returned an error saying that e-mail address does not exist. This usually happens if you have just recently created your e-mail account and try creating your Atlassian account right away.
I went ahead and removed that e-mail from our suppression list and you should be able to re-send the invite as of now.
Also, as a suggestion going forward, we usually recommend creating your own question as the resolution for different users may vary, and it's more difficult to follow if we try to troubleshoot multiple users' issues in the same question.

Hi, I also experienced this strange behavior and like to ask if anyone of you have chosen a email-address that contained the specific product name like "confluence" or company name "atlassian" before the @-char? This was what i did and as soon i changed it to something completely different i got the verification email INSTANTLY!

But I never received the verification email on my new address. I've had it resend for three times, but it never arrived. Is there any chance you could help me as well?
