I'm not receiving email notifications from Jira and Bitbucket

Hello, I have stopped receiving email notifications since yesterday all of a sudden. There were no changes made in the settings. Is the email address added in the suppression list?

 

My account is <email removed due to privacy reasons>

Hi, Anamika, thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community.

Checking our internal logs, I can see the following error on your email: 

421 4.4.0 [internal] no mail servers for this domain could be reached at this time

Checking your domain, it seems there is a problem with your DNS settings. In case you would like to check that too, you can get an email health report through the following link:

In this case, I would suggest you check this issue with your Domain Admin.

Hi Caroline!

It looked like there were some issues reported on the mail server but it looks like the email domain is reporting healthy from office.com now. So the issue resolved on its own after a while.

Looks like I spoke too early. I'm not receiving any emails again :(

The DevOPs team member has created the ticket with Atlassian support to find out about users with this domain not getting notifications.

In this case, to avoid any possible misunderstandings or miscommunication that may arise from discussing the same matter on two different platforms, let’s focus on the ticket they created with our support instead.

Once the ticket is resolved, feel free to share the resolution here to help other community members that may have the same issue.
