I have error when I try to push or clone a repository

This would suggest your machine doesn't have the right certificates or is not using the right TLS settings to connect to  it.

If you're not sure where to look next, could you give us the exact command you're using to push or clone (obscure the service name of course - for example "git clone https://aaa@bitbucket.org/bbb/ccc.git" - aaa, bbb and ccc replace the names I might not want people to see but don't actually break the data about what I'm doing)
