I can't pull from a private repository over ssh (Windows)

Francisco Fuentes March 28, 2019

I followed the instructions both for creating the SSH RSA key and for adding it to the system.

Writing ssh -T git@bitbucket.org works fine but when I write git pull origin master nothing happens at all.

Both server and the computer where I'm accessing it from are using Windows 10.

Hi Francisco, welcome to the Community!

You said when you write git pull origin master nothing happens at all. Don't you get any message or error?

If you run ssh-add -l, do you see your SSH key listed?

Lastly, what do you mean the server is using Windows 10? To which server are you trying to connect? Aren't you trying to connect to Bitbucket Cloud?

Let us know!

Ana

Yes

Oh, yes. I'm using a computer to code and there's a server in the office for my project where I have to "pull" the project. I'm using Bitbucket Cloud.

I connect from my PC to the server using SSH and try to pull the project but I can't but if I go to the server or use remote desktop then it works as it should.
