I can't do anything caused by "error: fsmonitor--daemon failed to start"

I was able to use "pull" and "push".
But I can't do anything even "commit".

error: fsmonitor--daemon failed to start
On branch master
Your branch is up to date with 'origin/master'.

 

This is an error message.

Please help me

Hi JK,

I found the following bug report by another user facing the same error with Git for Windows

I can see in the discussion there that the bug occurred when using Git in paths (either the worktree or the git directory) with non-ASCII characters.

Are you using Git for Windows as well, and are there any non-ASCII characters in the path where you're trying to use Git?

If so, a new installer for Git where the bug is fixed has been posted here:

You can try uninstalling Git and installing it again using the installer in the link above.
