I am able not able to get into bitbucket with 2FA

Hello All - 

• During the logging into bitbucket I provide my username and password
• I see 2FA for Atlassian asking to enter, i get it from DUO for atlassian and enter
• It takes the 6 digit code and now it asks for bitbucket 6 digit code for 2FA

This is where I am stuck.

Per my understanding 2FA for atlassian must/should work for bitbucket not sure where my account is broken

It seems you have enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Atlassian account and two-step verification (2SV) for your Bitbucket account. As a result, you will encounter two different types of authentication prompts when you log in to your account.

Please check your authentication app, and you should observe two distinct authenticators: one for Atlassian and another for Bitbucket. Use the first code for logging into your Atlassian account, and the second code should be used for accessing your Bitbucket account.

If you are unable to locate these codes, you may need to initiate a reset process for your Bitbucket 2SV.
