How to use your branching model like gitflow

We're trying to adopt gitflow workflow

And I found branching model settings on Bitbucket repo settings.

Then I set develop branch to development branch and master branch to production branch.

I forked main branches(master, develop) to supporting branches and used these.

But in case of release branch, it was able to merge into only production branch!

Definitely, bug-fixed things must be included into development process too.

So, do you have anything else possible? or do I have to create pull request of release branch to develop branch manually?

To merge the bug fixes to develop branche - you have to create a pull request to develop branch from release branch!!
