How to search for users like GitHub does?

GitHub can search for users. But I didn't find out away to do so in BitBucket.

And also, how to search for public repositories like GitHub?

Is this one the only way?

Those features are not available in Bitbucket Cloud, however I found a Feature request you might be interested in. Make sure to add your vote at Issue #494.
