How to recover deleted remote branch?

Hi Team,

Do we have any way to recover a deleted remote branch?

The branch was deleted two years ago.

Hi Amit,

I'm afraid that we don't have backups that far back and the garbage collections that run on the repository will have removed any dangling commits from two years ago.

The only way to recover would be from a clone of the repo where the branch is still present.
