How to clone GitHub repo in Bitbucket pipeline using OIDC

Hi @AlL , I using pipeline to clone GitHub repo and can using PAT, OAuth app for authentication. But it is possible to use OIDC for authentication. please help me reply as soon as possible.

Hi @long ho and welcome to the community!

Bitbucket Cloud provides the option to enable and use OIDC with resource servers, but this also needs to be supported by the resource server you are connecting to. If you check our documentation here and here, you can find the Identity Provider URL and Audience in a repo's Repository settings > OpenID Connect (if you are a repo admin), which need to be provided to the resource server.

I'm not sure if GitHub supports this, I would suggest reaching out to their support team in order to ask if this is possible. I searched online for info regarding OIDC and GitHub, but the only info I found is using OIDC from GitHub's CI tool to access other resource servers. I haven't found anything about using OIDC to access GitHub repos.
