I have yet to see a complete, detailed, description, of how to integrate Bitbucket with eclipse.
We really want a solution that lets us talk to Bitbucket directly from eclipse, check-ins, check-outs, and so on, without having to jump back and forth from Bitbucket.
I suspect it can be done and I have found a number of "solutions" via Google but most, if not all, seem to leave out something critical.
The bottom line is that we don't want to spend a lot of time in the Bitbucket interface other than to create users, repositories, and so on.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers!

Hi Chuck and welcome to the community!
Atlassian hasn't developed an integration for Bitbucket with Eclipse.
You can check the Eclipse Marketplace for any Git add-ons that will allow you to add Bitbucket repositories in Eclipse and perform Git operations like pull and push:
As far as I'm aware, EGit is such a provider developed by the Eclipse team:
The page above has a link to its documentation and there is also an EGit forum where you can reach out for help:
Kind regards,
Theodora
Thank you!
