How to Retrieve content and commit hash of a file using bitbucket rest api

I wanted to update content of a file using REST API(PUT /rest/api/latest/projects/{projectKey}/repos/{repositorySlug}/browse/{path}).

This API needs source commit id of the file.

Bitbucket provides below two apis to fetch content of a file

 /rest/api/latest/projects/{projectKey}/repos/{repositorySlug}/raw/{path} - doesnot provide latest commit id

GET /rest/api/latest/projects/{projectKey}/repos/{repositorySlug}/browse - provides all commit id for that file but does not tell which one is latest commit id. to get latest commit id, need to sort all the commit by dates and then have to pick the latest commit id.

is there a REST API which can provide content and latest commit id?
