Hi

I am trying to create a new repository for my own personal use on bitbucket. However it seems my account has none of the permission to enable me to do this. Whenever I look at instructions for createing my own repository the options listed in the instructions simply are not there. For instance, if I go to the repositories section there is no option to create a new repository. There is a 'create' button at the top right of the page, but this only gives me the option to create a snippet. I think this is the result of the fact that my account was created as a result of an invite from someone else. It seems that no my account is completely tied to them and I cannot create my own projects. This account is tied to my main email, so it would really not be ideal to have to create a new account tied to a seperate email just to be able to create my own repositories.

Thanks,

Davinder

Hi Davinder,

I have checked the workspace that you are a member of, and the reason you can't create repositories is that the workspace admin hasn't granted you the permission to do so.

You will need to reach out to the admin to change your permissions to allow for repository creation.

Cheers!
