How do I view my access level for a Stash repository?

Garima k September 30, 2019

I can see that I can create a branch and create a fork but don't see any Settings.

Hello @Garima k,

I see you tagged your question with bitbucket-cloud, but you refer to Stash which is the old name of Bitbucket Server. These products are different, so I'm wondering which one are you asking about?

In Bitbucket Cloud your access level for a repo is shown in the right sidebar of the source view.

Not sure if access level is explicitly shown in Bitbucket Server's UI. What you described seems to be write level: you can create branches but you don't see repository settings. Forking is available even if you have only read access level.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Daniil
