The Python project I'm working on is divided into modules: a "parent" package which houses the executable, and the "children" packages which are being built as wheel files then uploaded to devpi.
I want the parent build to be triggered on a successful upload of one it's "child" packages.
Is there a way of doing this in Bamboo? The trigger on change to the "child" git repository doesn't work in this scenario.
Is using the REST API my only hope? This may entail embedding the user name and password in the script, which I don't really want to do if I can help it.
