How can I delete a repository on Bitbucket?

I created a repo for testing and now I would like to delete it. How can I delete it?

Hi Xolela,

If you're using Bitbucket Cloud:

  1. From the repository you want to delete, click the Settings in the sidebar.
  2. From the Repository details page, click Delete Repository at the bottom of the page. Bitbucket will display the deletion dialog.

  3. Press Delete.

If you're using Bitbucket Server the steps are:

  1. Navigate to the repository settings page (e.g., http://localhost:7990/projects/<project_key>/repos/<repo_slug>/settings).
  2. Click the Delete repository button at the top right corner of the screen.
